Welcome to My Ancestral Home
Look around ... You never know what you might find ... Most of my father's family came from Germany in the mid-nineteenth century and settled in New Orleans, but there was one Irish woman who snuck in.
My mother's family includes many colonial and early US immigrants who settled in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Ohio. Their descendants moved to Tennessee, Illinois, and Missouri. But she also had a branch of those mid-nineteenth century Germans who came to New Orleans.
